I was born on an army base in Arizona, and I have property in Asheville, but most of my life has been spent on the outskirts of Houston. I have a degree in electrical engineering from UT Austin, I married my high school sweetheart, and I’m the mom of two nearly grown boys and two dogs named Indiana Jones and Short Round.
I have four published novels written under the pseudonym Alyssa Goodnight, all featuring quirky characters and happily-ever-afters. My books have been featured in Entertainment Weekly, First for Women and Woman’s World. I’m a beginner knitter, voracious reader, color enthusiast, and self-professed connoisseur of British mysteries of all sorts.
I’d quite fancy a research trip to England to visit the Imperial War Museums, Brickendonbury Manor, and various tea shops, high streets, and castle gardens. And if an invitation to the royal pigeon lofts at Sandringham was on offer, I would be thrilled to accept.
